We welcome Amanda DeBoer as our organist during our search for a new organist. Choir practice is Fridays at 10:30 am, with a quick practice Sundays at 10:00 am.

The Calvin’s Group Annual Mini Auction is February 8th at 1:30 pm. Come join us for a time of “great buys” and fellowship.

Ash Wednesday & Lenten Lunches

We are invited to join with Knox Presbyterian, Faith Lutheran and Northminster United for an Ash Wednesday Service on February 22nd at 7:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 44 William St., Oshawa.

The Wednesday Lenten Lunches begin February 29th at noon at Northminster United Church. The theme is “Be-Attitudes, Ways of Being”.

Annual Meeting

The Congregational Annual Meeting will be February 26th after worship. All year-end reports should be to John MacDonald (johnmacdonald10@sympatico.ca) by February 5th for distribution on February 19th. 

Book Club

The Book Club will meet again on February 29th at 7:00 pm. The next book selection is “The Jade Peony”, by Wayson Choy.

At the March 28th Book Club, the book selection is "The Dovekeepers" by Alice Hoffman.

World Day Of Prayer

St. Paul’s is hosting the World Day of Prayer service on March 2nd at 7:30 pm.

Golf Books

2012 Golf Books are being sold for $30. If you are interested, please speak to John MacDonald.

General Assembly Volunteers

This June, the Presbytery of Pickering is once again hosting the General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Volunteers are needed to help from Saturday June 2nd to Thursday June 7th. Most of the volunteers will be assisting Commissioners to their rooms, directing them to meeting areas, etc. Help is needed with set up of the worship area on the Sunday and with the Banquet on Monday June 4th. If you would like to volunteer, speak to Lois. The Volunteer Convener will be in contact with you about times etc. closer to the date. 

A Stitch In Time 

This group meets every Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until noon for coffee, crafts, and fellowship. We are working on joint projects or you can bring your own. If you are interested, please speak to Vivian Wagner. 

“Thinking of You” Student Boxes

“Thinking of You” student care boxes are for St. Paul’s young people attending college or university to let them know that we are thinking of them. There were items left over from the boxes put together earlier in the year so a monetary contribution would be appreciated. Please see Evelyn Wood.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)

St. Paul’s participates in a program called PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance). To take advantage of this direct debit program to support St. Paul's, please speak to Brian Shields or Jean Bolton. 

St. Paul’s Food Collection

Please remember the ongoing need for donations to the Food Bank at Settlement House.

Nursery care is available for infants to 3 years of age.

Choir practice is every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm from September to June.  A time to share your talents, enjoy friendships and raise your voice praising God.
